9.30am Portobello / Cramond / Vogrie / Livingston / Oriel / Meadowmill
Saturdays are for parkrun! Although not an official ERN training event, ERNies can be found at all of the local parkruns, with Portobello, Edinburgh (Cramond) and Vogrie being the most well-attended by us, in that order. Many of us are involved in regular volunteering at parkrun, and each year we do an “ERN Takeover” for our club’s birthday, where we take over the entire volunteer roster. Whether you are running or volunteering, parkrun is a great way to get to know more runners and to give back to our community.
9.30am – Location varies
July 2021 update from the Exec Committee, re: Sunday Runs:
We have been discussing reinstating ERN Sunday runs but have decided to postpone for the time being due to current Covid-19 issues.
However, if you’re looking for a Sunday run, remember that we’re a ‘network’, so you are free to run in small, informal groups, within current government guidelines. Our private Facebook group is a great way to see if anyone is interested in a particular Sunday run, or any day, for that matter. If you are looking for some run inspiration, here’s our library of ERN Routes.
Any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sign-up via the link in the weekly members-only ERN Newsletter, or via the link on our private Facebook page.
All training runs are currently on a “First come first served” basis (but you must be a member and have registered for a session).
As the restrictions are lifting, we can increase the numbers, however this is still run leader / session specific.
If you need to cancel – please do so asap so that we can contact others on the waiting list. You can do this via the links in the newsletter/in our private Facebook page.
A waiting list will be available: ensure you use an email address which you check regularly so that you aren’t disappointed and miss a space if it becomes available – or which could have been offered to someone else.
As ever, any questions, please contact email@example.com.
